About

Hey there!

If you’re here, it means you probably like rugby. Whilst I don’t have any rugby matches here, I do have lots of rugby-related nonsense that you might like! Expect to find: women’s rugby, men’s rugby, random facts, and maybe even some wheelchair rugby!

What is The Rugby History Project?

The Rugby History Project was founded as a way to combat the narrow scope of the current rugby history landscape. TRHP aims to discuss the lesser-known aspects of rugby history such as women’s rugby, working-class involvement in rugby and non-Anglosphere rugby. TRHP is updated fortnightly with more regular updates on Twitter, Bluesky and Instagram.

Who runs The Rugby History Project?

Hattie Bradshaw, the mad woman behind The Rugby History Project, is cuckoo about all things Women’s and Welsh Rugby. An Art Historian by training, she had combined her love for rugby and history with TRHP. A Scarlets and Brython Thunder fan with a Loughborough Lightning season ticket, she just bleeding loves rugby.
